HARYANA BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (HBSE) also proposes to open schools in INDIA and to provide free education at secondary and senior secondary level to those belonging to disadvantaged groups (e.g. the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally disadvantaged classes and other socially, culturally, economically, geographically weaker sections of the society, etc. as specified / notified by the appropriate Government) and people belonging to weaker sections who are unable to get secondary and senior secondary education in the normal course of life.
HARYANA BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (HBSE) is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified open schooling board that aims to cater to the varied academic needs of the divergent group of students to Secondary/Senior Secondary level and it is established Under Indian Society Act 1882 & Registered with planning commission & MHRD (New Delhi), Govt. of India.
HBSE is set up by the SR Act. by the state government, as per the recognition policy of the ministry of education (formerly MHRD). Hence the secondary or senior secondary school certificate issued by HBSE is eligible for higher studies as well as employment.
The following shall be authorities of the Board, namely;

(B) The Governing Body
(C) The Executive Committee
(D) The Academic Committee
(E) The Finance Committee
(F) The Research Committee
(G) The Schools/Academic Centers Development Committee
(H) The Online Education committee
(I) Such other authorities as may be declared by the statutes to be the Authorities of the Board:
